I think the interior is pretty much done. I don’t like detailing much in tub interior hard to get it right.

Yes it is!, maybe just cutting the door cards out will help....anyway. its looking great!!

Looks pretty good to me. 

I know it's not exactly a "factory stock" build but ,, from the factory, the door arm rests and all of the steering wheel would be black. 

Nothing wrong with the way you did yours though if that's how you like it.

Working on the front end tonight. My brush started getting bed head so taking a break before I complete painting the other grill

Engine and drive shaft glued into place.  

I think I have just enough room for the headers.

Headers now installed. Had to modify the left header for it to fit. Hockey game on tv ? tonight so no bench time after work.

Hey Guys little update. 

WOrking on the exhaust. going to have to make some bits from scratch to make the side pipes reach just before the rear wheels.

painted so sprue will cut to size when I go to install. pics after.

Did a test fit with exhaust pipes installed.  Well they need more work I noticed. Gonna get the putty out and fill the void.

im starting to think the pipes look stupid.. what do you guys think?

I would say cut them at the rocker panel and open the ends (if you can), else it looks really good.  The other thing you might want to look into is tires from Fireball Modelworks.  They look great and are more accurate in size.

I love these Firebirds btw.  My dad had four TransAms in the 80's for his company cars.  Hopefully I can build a replica of each one.

Thanks... for the tires ill leave them as is  I like the bigger wheel in the bag for the 80's look for the exhaust good idea. but not sure if I'm going to use them...

Bashing some exhaust.  Found some parts from my parts bin.  Going with cherry bomb mufflers. And still will have a side exhaust pipes.

Little bit of headway.  Body now married to chassis. Having some hood clearance issues. Took of the carb and filter. Next is the front end.  And figure out how I’m going to do the taillights specifically the reverse lights.

Thanks.. yeah.. ended doing it this way. wish I could have the pipes coming out closer to the rear wheel. but would of blocked part of the rear spring.
