SfanGoch
I need a few sets to use on some '56 Chevys which I'll build as NYPD patrol cars. I've searched through the AM manufacturers and came up with nothing. Anybody know of a source?

SfanGoch
Thanks Steve; but, I was hoping to find resin versions. I can't justify laying out 80+ bucks for two kits just for the wheels and hubcaps.

As many hot rod builders as we have here, there's bound to be some sets bouncing around some parts bins.

I have one of the kits but will most likely build it stock if I ever do it. 1 hour ago, SfanGoch said: The caps So you're looking for full wheel covers? If that's the case, they're not hard to find. Do they have to be '56, or will '55 do. They are nearly identical as far as I can tell. At least they should be close enough. I most likely have a few sets that I could part with. Might have to do some modification if you want separate wheels & tires though. The old original Revell '56 sedan with the opening doors & trunk might be your best bet for '56 caps. I should even have a set of those laying around somewhere, but lord only knows where! Steve

That's the kit(s) to be built as NYPD RMP's. This kit doesn't contain dog dish caps, only full sized wheel covers for the stock version, chrome reversed rims but no steel wheels. SfanGoch
My mistake. I copied the wrong image. Yeah, it's the dog dish caps I need to build the 150s. The old Revell '55 Chevys also only have full covers. I went through my AMT '55 Bel Airs and Nomads; same deal. Only wheel covers. Correct image

As Jantrix said, I would post a request in the "Wanted" section. My guess is that most guys that are building that kit are doing them with after market wheels. There should be tons of the hub caps floating around. If I had extras, I would send them to you. Are you guys saying that they actually made some of the fulls in 1/25? I was so disappointed not to find a set of these in the Revell/Monogram 1956 Nomad kit. espo
For the full wheel covers don't forget the Revell '56 Nomad kit or the '55 Bel Air Hardtop kit.
