I can’t put a finger on exactly why, but I enjoyed the heck out of this build. The color combo is Tamiya Cobalt Green and Tamiya Champagne Gold. I chose the colors because by happenstance the cans were sitting side by side on the bench and I thought they lloked good together. After I painted the body I alternated between hating the colors and liking the colors until I actually finished the detail work and final assembly. Once it was complete I full-on loved the look. I ditched the pizza cutters that came in the kit and put some meatier tires on some 5 spoke Cragar-style rims. I decided to go with the old-school pressure pot supercharger on the 390 and used some skirts from the kit to fashion some dual, offset forced air hood scoops. As always, thanks for looking folks.

Awesome!

The whole colour combo works well. Sits nicely on those wheels, too. The hood scoops look good as well ?

Great looking Merc and some really fine detailing !  Kinda on the fence about the color but it could grow on me .:)
