Tonight's progress. Got the distributor wires ran through the PE looms and glued in place, the coil glued and wired (still need some yellow paint for the top), the fuel line ran, the anti-backfire muffler installed and half of it plumbed.

That's enough to make my eyes bug out. Time for bed.

Thanks guys. I've been slowly working on the motor. Did a ton of work on the belt assembly. Modified it for all of the accessories and used PE pulley faces and .020 x .020 evergreen strip for the belt.

This project is what I work on when I'm at home. I have other projects that I work on at work. Unfortunately I have been very limited on my time to play at home. I am making progress on it. It is just slow. I'll try and get some progress pictures up this weekend.

Did a bit more work on this one tonight. Got some of the minor decals on and did some more wiring on the engine. I have NEVER done this much detailing on an engine. It's hard to keep track of where all of the wires go. I think it looks good so far and I don't have many more to go. What is left to connect will have to wait until I get the engine installed and the body on.

I still need to man up and try putting the hood decals on for the second time. Not looking forward to that.

Thanks guys. Dann, you do such a great job on your builds that I may have to send this hood to you to get the decal done right. Lol.

I hate the idea of messing it up again. Then I'd have to get another kit to try a third time. Sometime soon I will get an afternoon to myself where it is quiet and I'll sit and work it out. Till then I'll keep pecking away at the rest of it.
