I remember seeing pictures in Hot Rod Magazine of a Stude just like this one.  I think it went 200+ mph.

Outstanding work. Where did the Studebaker logo decal come from? I'd have liked that for my build.

I like how you went with the more realistic Injected Hemi instead of the twin Blowers from the kit. Did the Studebaker logo come from the Avanti kit ? This is what happened to a lot of Starlite coupes back in the day since they were so aerodynamic even before you chopped the top.  Great looking build and represents what so many of the Salt Flat cars looked like .

Yes the decals came from the last issue of the Avanti!
