I recently got an old amt callaway corvette for $7.50 and I’m not a big fan of the 90s vets so I decided that I’m going to put a 1962 corvette body on its frame. It will be biult box stock except for the body and rims.

The rims are from a revell 1999 Ford lightning and the body is a revell 1962 corvette gasser.

The engine is twin turbocharged.

The wheel bas is the same but it will need some trimming up front and some material added to the back.

Terrific Idea! I have three Corvette kits that I am not thrilled with. Maybe they will make one good one. Thanks, I too will be watching.

Looking forward to seeing where this goes! I have a bag full of butchered Corvette parts from a conversion attempt back in the 90s...Revell C4 'vette into '57 vette. I got as far as cutting everything up, and then it stalled.

Funny, in retrospect I quite like the Calloway C4 and I'd consider buying another to build a version with more modern wheels.
