Spitfire Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 This is my first build...technically not first ever, but I haven't done one since I was about 14 years old. Decided to go easy on the 'building' and just put together Revell's snap kit, so I could practice on painting and just get back into the swing of things. I've got a few 32's on the bench that I'm working on too.
donb Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 Nice looking color on that car. Looks pretty cool to me. Welcome back to the hobby too. Keep it going!
ewetwo Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 Beautiful. It's going to be hard to top this one if it's you first build.

The color is Duplicolor "Torque 'n Teal" engine enamel. I had it left over for an engine build I did for my grandfather's '47 Packard, and thought it'd make a cool body color.
Modelbuilder Mark Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 Nice! Welcome to the forum, and back to the hobby.
Spitfire Posted July 24, 2018 Author Posted July 24, 2018 Thanks guys! I got a lot of tips for building it right here from browsing the tips and tricks threads.
Bainford Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 Very cool '34. I like the style and the colour really makes it pop. A nice, tidy build. Well done.
espo Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 Very nice. The color and the White Walls look great together.
landman Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 Beautiful come back. Looking forward to the next ones.
