That is so depressing when something like that happens to a paint job but I'm glad to see that you've not given up. I've had a few "what the h..." experiences using MotoMaster & duplicolor lines so try to do most of my paint jobs with the TS line from Tamiya and have yet to have a paint failure. Yours is going to look nice in orange and keep the blade in a dark colour it will make a nice contrast.

Hand brushed the accent panel with Model Master acrylic gunmetal. That stuff is wonderful. Have to stock up on many more colors.

Thank you Dann & Joe. I'm actually quite impressed myself on how that turned out. -_-

You should be!!, the only time I seem to be able to brush paint without it showing, is the VERY first time I open a new jar of paint!!...lol

WOW!!…...what did you use as clear?!

I used the only one I had that wasn't lacquer, It was the clear from Spaz-Stix which is an enamel. Should have followed my first impulse which was to use floor polish.

I'll be able to attend a hobby shop next week. I'll look for some. At the same time I hope to attend the Ottawa show while I am there.

Too bad about the orange peel. Wet sanding should get that out. Which show, London or Ottawa?

Started on the wet sanding. What next? Reshoot some  blue or clear over the wet sanding?

That looks like clear will finish it off, light coats.

IF I was in that spot, that you are in, so as not to be upset with it, I'd let a couple of light coats dry for a week!

Then sand it again and finish with more clear.

Just a suggestion, do you have a dehydrator? It's a very worthwhile investment, cuts dry time by about 10. Almost eliminates frustration when this sort of thing happens to me, and it does, it happens to all of us I'd say, at one time or another.
