Spruslayer Posted December 9, 2018 Author Posted December 9, 2018 Decided to ditch the black plastic i started with and went with styreen Next will be the sides and then how to do the the doors.Not going to have them working so it shouldent be to much of a issue.
GLMFAA1 Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 Roll up doors are not hard if you are not making them functional, Did this years ago Evergreen slotted car siding and square stock Used this method on this fire truck using three different sizes of siding on the roll ups greg
Chariots of Fire Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 I did non-functional roll up doors on this rig years ago. I made an inner box of the scribed sheet stock and then made an outer box for the remainder. It made painting it easy and kept things nice and neat. it also made the body very strong.

Spruslayer Posted December 18, 2018 Author Posted December 18, 2018 Hers a workaround i used for some shims I needed about .200 thick shim to make the correct ride hight for the White SD and discovered that a Lego block measured .200 so and happened to be the right widthe also! They are the blue parts in the pic
