Does this ever happen to you? I had 2 big projects that I needed to get done, one was the 359 Pete for the TAT build, and the other a White/Freightliner Septic truck for the Cannonball Run build. I also finished up a School bus, Iveco Stralis and a Starsky and Hutch Torino.

Now my bench is empty, I have other kits and other builds that I can or need to work on or finish. But I am now looking at everything I have and need to pick the next thing to work on, it is just a strange feeling. Maybe I have been working so hard to get these finished, I am now overwhelmed with the freedom I have to choose.

Anyway, just feels strange. I am sure I will be deep into the next project by the time lunch rolls around.

Usually after the completion of every build, I will do a deep clean of my bench and my supplies.  I put all of my tools back where they go.  I do a check of my supplies; am I almost out of glue, certain paint colors, misc. supplies, etc.?  I clean up all of the bits of sprue and sanding dust, stuff like that.

For me, it is a good feeling to have a clean bench.  Good luck on your next build!

That's exactly what I do only I want to add that I can finally vacuum my carpet and empty my trash bin not being afraid of losing an important part that will be lost forever.

Not a bad thing, I haven’t been at the bench in months, and think I’ve only stepped into my ‘room’ twice in the past month to put down a few new kits. But, summer is almost over, so it’ll be back in there making a mess soon....
