landman Posted September 30, 2018 Author Posted September 30, 2018 (edited) There it is a 10 footer, or is it 45? Edited October 28, 2020 by landman
Rider Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Thumbs up. I personally call kits that I think look good from a far, 'top shelfers'. You've done an outstanding job given the lump of resin you started with.
Oldmopars Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 I think most of us would have thrown that pile into the trash bin long ago. You did a great job of making this into something you can be proud of.
bobthehobbyguy Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Good job. You had to overcome how rough it was and then dropping it. For most either would have been a show stopper. An interesting phantom body style.
geetee66 Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Great effort! It paid off, I reckon. Nice job. Makes me fear the resin body on my shelf slightly less, now.

bobthehobbyguy Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Interesting I was aware of ute's but never heard of slopers.

misterNNL Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Thanks for showing the photos of the real slippers as I personally had never seen that roof profile before. We're those produced in the USA?

landman Posted October 2, 2018 Author Posted October 2, 2018 Thanks everyone for the kind comments. On to the next one.
landman Posted October 2, 2018 Author Posted October 2, 2018 (edited) While I was at it I redid the blown 427 from the 39 Hot Rod kit like this. The OBX intake, water pump and front cover are 3D prnted by Ron Olsen. I wonder if that intake would even work on an old time 427 and if there ever was one with a distributor.
