Southern Fried Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Started out slowly, as a relaxation from building 1/48 aircraft for customers. I really like Revells subject matter. This one is a jewel. Don't know where it will end up....I have several "Y" blocks and speed parts......seems only natural....

gman Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 I like what I see so far- very authentic weathering on the painted body, replacement front end parts. Good stance for a drag strip car representing a work in progress.
espo Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 The body and stance is perfect. The more I look at the little details were trim has been removed leaving mounting holes it just gets better and better. This would be the perfect place for a grimy Y block.
disabled modeler Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Great weathering...its going to be cool...!

Daddyfink Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Please, no grimy engine. Most racers may have grimy cars, but the engines are usually in nice shape because that is where all the money is going.
geetee66 Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 That looks brilliant! Makes me want to try more weathering techniques. Very inspirational stuff. Can't wait to see more ?
