Snake45 Posted September 25, 2018 Posted September 25, 2018 I'd have gone with "toyiferous" or "toyatatious," but that's just me.
Ace-Garageguy Posted September 25, 2018 Posted September 25, 2018 (edited) Here's one for tomorrow: NOTE: This is in no way political commentary. It is simply a word definition. Edited September 25, 2018 by Ace-Garageguy

Marketting is everything, but it really grinds my gears when it a driving factor on major decisions of the creation of a film. Sony single handedly destroyed the first Spider-Man franchise with it's interference. "WE GOTTA HAVE MORE ACTION FIGURES, SCREW MAKING A GOOD FILM!

One of my personal favorites. EDIT: Funny how much it has in common with characteristics attributed to the Dunning-Kruger effect. Edited September 25, 2018 by Ace-Garageguy

Wow. And I always thought it meant someone who actually knows what he's talking about, rather than somebody who just thinks he does. Edited September 26, 2018 by Ace-Garageguy
Belugawrx Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 see how one word can mean multiple things
bobthehobbyguy Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 up·grade verb ˈəpˌɡrād,ˌəpˈɡrād/ 1. raise (something) to a higher standard, in particular improve (equipment or machinery) by adding or replacing components. "the cost of upgrading each workstation is around $300" synonyms: improve, modernize, update, bring up to date, make better, ameliorate, reform; More noun ˈəpˌɡrād/ 1. an act of upgrading something. In a perfect world this is the case. Unfortunately in the real world it is seldom the case. Particularly in the case of software.
Snake45 Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 I've been hearing radio ads for some kind of thriller novel where the hero "goes full-octane!" What could that possibly mean? Does it mean under extreme pressure, he doesn't detonate or "knock"? If so, that doesn't sound particular exciting.
