Hello again friends, follow photos of another finished model.

1963 Corvette Revell Snap. For rear bumper and mirrors came from the 65 Vette Monogram, hood details are from the 63 Vette AMT. I modified  front bumper and the front grille was made by scratch build.

I hope you enjoy

Very nice model, but I don't understand why you needed to replace parts.

Thanks, I have all 3 kits, Revell, Monogram and AMT, and I've used the best parts of the other kits. The Revell rear bumper does not have a very good finish, as I had the other parts available, why not use it?

And detail hood, Revell in red and AMT in Gray.

Below the link  (in Portuguese), comparing the 3 kits, showing the differences of each one.

Very nice build.  I know what you mean about the Revell hood grills, very shallow and easily filled with paint unless you mask them first.

I followed your link to your build site and I am very impressed with  the changes you made to make your model better.   Thank you for sharing the build link.

Very nice work!!

The black is as smooth as glass, love it.

It looks like you are painting all the chrome. Is it Molotow paint, or Alclad?

Did some tests with both, and Molotow paint with automotive clear (verniz bicomponente) seems to look the part. Even tough, I only do that to restore damaged chrome.
