Rob Hall Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 Googling turned up a Group B rally version. https://rallygroupbshrine.org/the-group-b-cars/rally-cars/subaru-mp-1-utility/
Rob Hall Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 (edited) I like this off roady one... https://images.app.goo.gl/1q1Qas6piLc2XqfD7 Edited May 22, 2019 by Rob Hall
Cpt Tuttle Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 I need one, I think I will make a replica of my aunts battered old BRAT that she had until some years ago. I think every part on that truck was broken and as a miracle it still was running....
Rob Hall Posted June 15, 2019 Posted June 15, 2019 Got the Brat today, looks like a neat kit. Expanded decals w/ gauge faces, has the 'Retro Deluxe' info decal on the box directly instead of the wrap as they usually do, odd. One small chrome tree w/ chromed headlights and taillights, wheels molded in white. Tires don't have any white lettering.
stavanzer Posted June 15, 2019 Posted June 15, 2019 One or Two sets of Tires? Any optional wheels or other parts?
Rob Hall Posted June 15, 2019 Posted June 15, 2019 One set of tires and wheels. Options seem to be a push bar and roll bar for the bed

Trying again, uploaded some pics to my Fotki account. It looks pretty much the same as the original issue, besides now being molded in white and the additional decals. Oddly the interior tub wasn't bagged. Edited June 15, 2019 by Rob Hall
Classicgas Posted June 16, 2019 Posted June 16, 2019 A must have. Glad to see Round2 is listening and including gauge decals.
dino246gt Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 Too bad they didn't drill out those chrome headlights and include some clear lenses.
Faust Posted July 2, 2019 Author Posted July 2, 2019 Since I'm still in the middle of mine, I can tell you that kit looks exactly the same. Even the tires look identical to the original. Even though they're not pad printed (a shame), they should be good. They are a TINY bit too narrow for the rims, but I've seen way worse. That new Decal Sheet is awesome! However, that's a later striping style. I am not sure, because I've been focusing on late '70s ones, but that's more like into the '80s. I'm not sure if that's correct for this kind of BRAT or not - it's closer to the decals on the second series. Still, they're going to work better than my originals will! I hope you enjoy it, man! I'll be posting an update on mine in a couple of weeks. Things have gotten a bit stalled. Let me know if they put anything on top of the engine. There's a clear alignment rib, but nothing goes up there on mine. Fixing that would be awesome!
Chuck Kourouklis Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Never got it the first time so it's new to me! Diggin' it.
Faust Posted July 5, 2019 Author Posted July 5, 2019 If I didn't have the old one already, I'd be kicking down doors to get this one! It's not the best kit, but it's miles and miles better than their mid-'70s kits, and the interior detailing is quite good too. There are issues, of course, but hey, it's a BRAT! What else do you want?
unclescott58 Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 (edited) Another one I'm waiting to get my hands on. Should have this, and the '77 Pinto, in my grubby little hands by this next Wednesday. Edited July 5, 2019 by unclescott58
charlie8575 Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 I wonder if it will rust almost immediately when removed from the box? Subarus around here did that pretty well. Charlie Larkin
