I just finished this 1980 Monte Carlo. It's painted it's painted with the left over paint from my 1978 Monte Carlo, Carmine/Dark Carmine.

I think it might look pretty good although it would have been better using a lighter background.  I think I detect a two-tone on the roof and hood.

I agree with TarheelRick about the lighter back ground. I like the color combination and it looks very much like an option Chevrolet offered at that time. I think the colors work well together and I like the white interior.

On my Lap Top, the first set of pictures looked good. When I viewed them on my Ipad, they were very hard to see.

Sorry about that.

Cool. Where did you find a 80?

The 80 is the last one and the one that's been reissued a couple of times. The 79 was the Wheeler Dealer issue, there was no model kit of the 78 M.C., only the promo.

I believe it to be an original 1980 issue, going by the box art and instruction sheet dates.

I traded for it, here on the forum.
