Tom99 Posted October 13, 2018 Posted October 13, 2018 (edited) I just finished this 1980 Monte Carlo. It's painted it's painted with the left over paint from my 1978 Monte Carlo, Carmine/Dark Carmine. Edited October 13, 2018 by Tom99
TarheelRick Posted October 13, 2018 Posted October 13, 2018 I think it might look pretty good although it would have been better using a lighter background. I think I detect a two-tone on the roof and hood.
espo Posted October 13, 2018 Posted October 13, 2018 I agree with TarheelRick about the lighter back ground. I like the color combination and it looks very much like an option Chevrolet offered at that time. I think the colors work well together and I like the white interior.
Tom99 Posted October 13, 2018 Author Posted October 13, 2018 On my Lap Top, the first set of pictures looked good. When I viewed them on my Ipad, they were very hard to see. Sorry about that.

The 80 is the last one and the one that's been reissued a couple of times. The 79 was the Wheeler Dealer issue, there was no model kit of the 78 M.C., only the promo.
Tom99 Posted October 17, 2018 Author Posted October 17, 2018 I believe it to be an original 1980 issue, going by the box art and instruction sheet dates. I traded for it, here on the forum.
