shoopdog
Picked this one up super cheap at Michaels a while back as a slump buster while I'm stuck on three other builds. Paints is Model Master Classic White with Tamiya clear. I need to go back and fill in the panel lines and I don't think I'll use the Molotow pen again for wheel opening moldings as it is rather unforgiving. Ron Hamilton
Nice work. Those are pretty good kits.

Snake45
If by "fill in the panel lines" you mean you're going to run a black wash in there, DON'T. It will look horrible. I speak from experience here. You'll look at these pictures and wish you'd left it alone. If you think you just HAVE to try it, get some water-based acrylic craft paint in a very light gray, thin it with water, and do it with that. Bob Ellis
Snake did you fix or modify the roof to match old AMT kit?
shoopdog
Thanks guys! I was quite impressed with the detail and quality of a snap kit. Here are some early morning outdoor pics if anyone is interested.....

But I DID do the same necessary surgery on a Welly diecast '65, with very pleasing results:
Hmann68
Wow that goat is sharp covered in white, very classy and you did some nice work there ?
Hard_2_Handle_454
These weren't bad kits. The hard top looks a lot better than the convertible. The vert has a slightly curved body and a slightly sloping hood. Doesn't quite look right.
Deuces
Both of those look great!.... ??

Bob Ellis
MY PL 64 GTO was a poor fitting PIA. It was no snap, pun intended.

As Snake said don't touch the panel lines , they look "right" just like they are . Look at some pics of real cars and you'll see a shadow in the door gaps not a black void , your model has the correct shadow .
