General Lee Charger but no decals.

I bought this kit that was 90 percent built. Brush painted orange. I was able to get it apart and I re-did the interior and exterior. This was soaked in purple power 4 times because I would somehow make the paint crinkle. Decals? Or no decals.

I wouldn't have even looked at this if you hadn't said there were no decals - looks MUCH better IMHO.

I'm also impressed with your brush-painted body - not easy to do it this nicely.

Oh no. When I bought it at a flea market it was brush painted orange. I stripped the body and interior and sprayed it. :)

I'd say as much as I love the General I'd leave the decals off this one... Looks clean, and you can still see the General lee connection. I'd even add the pushbar. I beleive if I owned a real 69 Charger it would be orange with tan interior... I love that color combination.

Nice save too, I've been particularly intrested in restoring Build ups here latley.

I agree with everyone else. I think the General Lee is perhaps one of the most commonly built models out there. As much as I love the General Lee, I think it's nice to see just a standard looking Dodge Charger now and then. I personally think the Charger was a beautiful car either way.
