crazyjim Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 I have no idea what kind of car this is so I call it a Whatisit? No interior and no engine. The chassis panel does show a molded in IRS suspension and dual exhaust. Whatever it is was painted in Tru-Color crimson.
cobraman Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 Is that the Black Force slammer ? Looks good.
Lovefordgalaxie Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 There is some '38 Ford there, some Zephyr, some Tatra and even some VW Beetle. Nice looking custom tough.
Mister Twister Posted December 23, 2018 Posted December 23, 2018 I believe also that its the Black Force. Your paint work is just getting better and better Jim. Nice job!
Dann Tier Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 That's a pretty sweet ride, Jim!!! ...always love seeing your special plate as well!!!
Koellefornia Kid Posted December 24, 2018 Posted December 24, 2018 Nice version of AMT´s Black Force! Like the wheels and the taillights!
crazyjim Posted December 24, 2018 Author Posted December 24, 2018 Thank you Ray Tulio, Darryl, Dann, and Oliver. Turns out it's an AMT Slammers 1938 Ford Black Force snap kit.
crazyjim Posted December 24, 2018 Author Posted December 24, 2018 Thanks Donald. I thought it was such a cool looking car when I saw it in a box of junk parts at our FAST picnic a couple of weeks ago.
misterNNL Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 I like the way this finished. Very swoopy with more than a little art deco influences in it's DNA. Some of the rear views remind me of the Packard and Nash fastbacks from the late 1940's.Thanks for sharing.
