br67 Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 (edited) Not sure if you've seen this hood from Lex (he sells on eBay). Not a bad casting. Inner finish not that great and I'm not sure about accuracy of scoop location Edited January 27, 2019 by br67 Add photos
espo Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 You can see where the caster combined the two different hoods. It would have taken a little time on the casters part to better finish this underside before they made the mold. At this point you could still do that with some carful sanding. Other than that the hood looks good.
Superbird McMonte Posted January 29, 2019 Author Posted January 29, 2019 Over the past couple days I polished out the body on the 1968 Baldwin Motion Chevelle. I painted the vinyl top this morning and then added all the chrome foil. Hopefully going into final assembly verl

Snake45 Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 Oh my! There's something about triple black that just looks straight-up evil, isn't there? Drive on!
mod3l Lover Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 Yeah, that does look wicked for sure!! Kinda like a Hot Rod limo!!! I really like the redlines with that combo too! David S.
Superbird McMonte Posted January 30, 2019 Author Posted January 30, 2019 Last pictures before I post completed model. All that’s left is door handles and lenses! 1
Trendsetta68 Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 Now that's a Chevelle with an attitude! Great job with the vinyl top!
