tbill Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 After doing the ‘copo’ version of this kit, I decided to do a yenko version. Currently have almost everything in primer, the body I painted about a month ago. Once all the other bits are painted, it should come together rather quickly.
tbill Posted January 27, 2019 Author Posted January 27, 2019 Lot of black parts on this one....will need a few more coats for complete coverage.
mikemodeler Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 That is looking good so far and should be a beauty when done!
beeRS Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 Looks good so far. I'm jealous of your spray booth!
1972coronet Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Looks GREAT so far ! Man , what a handful those 427 Nova models must've been ! They're wild enough with an L-78 ! Now , if only someone would make a 1970 Yenko Deuce LT-1...
tbill Posted January 28, 2019 Author Posted January 28, 2019 Thanks guys. Should make some progress tonight . Ya, paint booth is fantastic, I couldn’t build without it, I love it.
tbill Posted January 29, 2019 Author Posted January 29, 2019 Got some work done on the chassis, and grabbed some rally wheels out of another nova kit, as the ones in the kit just weren’t doing it for me. Had to mock it up to see how it looked, lol. Need to detail the wheels and tires still.
tbill Posted January 31, 2019 Author Posted January 31, 2019 Engine is done ( and dusty it would seem) , seats and dash are done as well.
tbill Posted February 2, 2019 Author Posted February 2, 2019 Some mock up, and a pic with its sibling
