89AKurt Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 The Grim Reaper waits for nobody. That's why it's important to live your life to the fullest while you can. This reminds me, I produced a nice video of a GSL show, can think of two famous model builders who have passed away since, so I better get it digitized so I can download to YouTube. 1 1
Zoom Zoom Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 (edited) Tommy May and Mike Siegman are both doing well and are on Facebook. We haven't heard from Russ Schwenkler for years, ditto for Pat Covert, both moved on to other hobbies. Tommy is still in Birmingham and Mike is soon moving to Ohio from Washington state. Russell C Posted January 14, 2024 Posted January 14, 2024 Mike Siegman was at the last GSL contest in SLC, he actually helped me figure out the light rail ride from the airport to the hotel. 1

bobss396 Posted January 30, 2024 Posted January 30, 2024 In my club alone, we lost a lot over the years. Some were club presidents, some regular builders who showed many of us the way. They got us into traveling for shows and contests, now I have cut down on my traveling as I'd rather go with a group which is more fun.
