oldcarfan Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 So yesterday I fell to temptation and ordered a set of Magnus Walker 277 decals from China. Now the question; which Porsche 911 kit comes closest to matching his car? I'm guessing it's going to be a Fujimi, but any guidance to which in particular and preferably is there another manufacturer that has one? Has anyone attempted this build?
afx Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 A picture of the car you trying to build Gary would help us help you.
Ace-Garageguy Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 (edited) This will get you pretty close. Walker's car doesn't have the flipper tail, but I think the kit comes with two decklids...I'll check. Same kit... You'll also want to decide which look to go for. The car has been fitted with traditional Fuchs wheels in varying widths, as well as others... Edited March 31, 2019 by Ace-Garageguy
stitchdup Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 (edited) The wheels in ace's last pic (1552 outlaws) are available in resin but i cant remember who made them just now Edited April 1, 2019 by stitchdup

oldcarfan Posted April 6, 2019 Author Posted April 6, 2019 Thanks for the replies, I'll start looking for the Fujimi kit. I just remembered I've got a set of the 1552 Outlaws that I bought last year on eBay for a good price. Can't remember who makes them but they came from the Ukraine.

I'm assuming they are made by ucsp. Hows the quality on the wheels? they have some I'd like to get but I've been holding off purchasing until I've seen some used as they are a little more expensive than others on this side of the pond

They are excellent quality. Shipping took about 3 weeks and they were packed in a nice presentation box.
