Actor/musician Jerry Reed died today at the age of 71. He best known as Cledus Snow in the 3 Smokey and the Bandit Movies. and his song from those movies "east bound and down". he is also known as Coach Red Beaulieu in 1998's the Watorboy. RIP snowman

this is sad news. i always liked his music. i am not a big music fan but, he was good. also wrote alot of funny songs. i remember him saying about his songs," if i can't write funy stuff, then i'll quit".

A sad loss indeed, seems here lately were losing alot of old country greats, waylon, cash, chris ledoux and countless others. Man when I was a kid I loved watching the episodes of scooby doo that had jerry in em. he will be missed.

Awwww Miss Ya Snowman I saw all of the Bandit Movies, and I couldn't stand Burt,Sally, or the Bird(Knew too many Local Idiots that ruined them for me!! ), but I always enjoyed seeing and hearin' the Snowman coming over the radio at the Drive-In :( :( :(
