He best known as Cledus Snow in the 3 Smokey and the Bandit Movies. and his song from those movies "east bound and down". he is also known as Coach Red Beaulieu in 1998's the Watorboy. I grew up loving his music before he was in that glorious 2-hour Pontiac commercial that blew my little mind, and I still do.
