regular guy
Latest good development is finding this out. Yes.Can use Lindberg 1/8 scale drivetrain parts. Can glue them together with Elmer's white glue. When done building scale chassis.Soak them in hot water to remove all glue and put them back in kits they came from. That removed a big old stumbling block from this project.

Belugawrx
Why not just leave everything in the box...?
regular guy
' Photos? ' Sorry. No pictures to post of this project at this time. ' Why not just leave everything in the box...? ' Because, I want to use them on the scale chassis and keep them to build the kit too.

Codi
For what it's worth, you might find you'll get people to reply if you would post actual pictures of what you're working on. You caught my attention with the original post and headline, and now I'm just shaking my head wondering what's the point. Not trying to stir the pot or get the moderators attention, just stating the obvious.

regular guy
' now I'm just shaking my head wondering what's the point. ' Gee.Sorry about that. Ordering the basswood strips WAS THE UPDATE. Don't know how I'm supposed to take pictures of that. A selfie with the laptop ordering from Hobbylinc? Sounds kind of weird that anybody would want to see that. I'm stumped. Codi
I love sarcasm as much as the next person.........so if you think about it........what's the point of telling us you ordered basswood strips on-line. Kinda silly if you think about it. I did.

peteski
How about a detailed description of your workshop? Or how does your neighborhood look? After all, since you giving us detailed play-by-play (or is it stick-by-stick?) details of your build (including the raw materials you're ordering), why not tell us more about where it is all taking place. And I'm sure somebody will find a photo of that 4.5 lb block of clay very intereting. Edited April 15, 2019 by peteski
