:( Jaff, I don't really know who "wrote" this song, but it's a take off from Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen's "Hot Rod Lincoln". Re- done for a Mustang, but this guy CAN'T sing! :(

just as the title says, what song is this?

HOPPED-UP MUSTANG by Arlen Sanders

written by Bill Romberger & Arlen Sanders

Faro 616, 1964

It's a Knock Off of Commander Cody's Hot Rod Lincoln from the mid 50's - I'll take the Origonal myself :(

The original Hot Rod Lincoln was written and sung by Charlie Ryan.

funny thing is, i heard that mudstank song and it reminded me vaguely of this one so i looked it up

and then i read all this :(

which also brought to mind this one:

Never heard the original Hot Rod Lincoln before now, it's a shame to see that Charlie Ryan passed, but atleast he had a long life. I read an article about the real Hot Rod Lincoln he built when I was in highschool, and it sounds like he had a little bit of a lead foot......Well maybe Tungsten is more like it :P
