Belugawrx Posted May 4, 2019 Posted May 4, 2019 The old liveries and colourful drivers were great fun to watch back in the day. I really like these amt Indy cars, Indycal decals worked great, polished beer can metal for mirrors,...Seem to have a bunch of that material around...? Heeeerrrs Arie 1 :25th Figure from GF Models www.fg-models.eu ...(seems that's broken) excellent sculpting Fun build, I hope to get as many of these as I can. Thanks for looking in Q. C. +C's welcome Cheers may the 4th be with you
Vince66 Posted May 4, 2019 Posted May 4, 2019 Brings back many memories thanks for the trip down victory er-memory lane. Lol
afx Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Turned out great Bruce. You did a great job getting the engine cover to fit.
Curt Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 Excellent work on this one, Bruce! I built this kit right after it came out, but not as well as you did. The kit decals were way too thin and didn’ t show up against the black so I ended up buying a second kit so I could double up on the decals to make it look right. This was way before the internet and eBay. I loved these AMT kits, though, as they were simple but built up nicely.
ismaelg Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 Beautiful execution of a beautiful car in one of the most elegant and beautiful liveries ever! Great job! Now I want to dig some stalled Indy car projects...
