Why was it "Pinned" ?

Who pins them ?

It's a frequently asked question and it's easy for everyone to find if it's pinned at the top of the first page of the category the topic belongs to.
The moderators are the only ones that can pin a topic.

Usually, the moved thread notification goes away after 30 days. Apparently that is not the case for pinned threads that are moved. I unpinned the notification, so hopefully that fixes it.

Because ..members keep asking the same questions ..about the same topic, so..all questions regarding this topic,.. are redirected to the most prevalent discussion... and since the topic of what airbrush and booth and compressor to use are popular,..I assume they put all of those similar questions into the same, or like category ,..to save space and repetitive questions,,..like yours...

Doubtful. Most online forum users are familiar with the concepts of "sticky" or "pinned" threads.. :P  Your question about this was the first one like  that I have seen asked for a very long time.  Actually I can't remember last time I saw someone ask about sticky threads.
