One of my favourite actors ( Salem's Lot , anyone ? ) was a lover of felines ---- a true testimonial of one's character . So , Happy Caturday !

Cats can be very cool pets.I had three black ones and a calico mother.They are all dead,but they were great cats.The mother lived for about 18-19 years.The daughter and the father died kind of young.In fact, the father (A jet black short haired)cat,died very suddenly and we don’t know from what.I thought about doing an autopsy, but instead I buried him.Then mom went from cancer, I had to put her down.And their daughter went a few years later,,cancer too.Not to bum any cat lovers?I mean I loved them all.They were crazy furry creaturesRIP

My dad hated cats.  After I got my own house (built in 1985), a friend in Salt Lake who had cats extolled the virtues of them, so picked one up from kids in front of a grocery store.  Had many since, my children tended to bring them home.  Current crew, indoor only, Coyotes don't make good friends.

Well, since I don't have any of my own, I'll just post a couple of my friend's cats!

This guy reminds me so much of my male short haired,golden eye black cat.Name was Cole.GOD this cat looks just like him.Cole died suddenly over night unfortunately,we never found out why.But what a great cat, the cat was the biggest thief.If he could get something he knows where it is, and then hides it.But I started really watching him.He had a bunch of hideouts.RIP Cole,his girlfriend Rory,(Momma cat,19 years old.Cancer,had to put her down.and daughter Cassie developed lung cancer..All passed away in the last 4 years.....
