ewetwo Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 These were in a box full of parts and I don’t know what they go to. Anyone? Thank you.
Lunajammer Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 The middle tree goes to the AMT '59 El Camino. Large lens is half the custom tail lights for the custom tailgate.
ewetwo Posted June 17, 2019 Author Posted June 17, 2019 Thank you Mike. I'll bag and tag them in case anyone needs them.

I don't think they are. The parts you're talking about come to a sharp point, not rounded off like that. Plus they have vertical ridges on them. AMT did a lot of crazy custom stuff back then .
ChrisBcritter Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 Lower left are the stock and custom '62 Tempest taillight lenses:
ChrisBcritter Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 Middle ones are both sets of the custom taillights from the AMT '63 Pontiac Bonneville.
ewetwo Posted June 18, 2019 Author Posted June 18, 2019 Wow. I'm always amazed by the members knowledge here in our forum. I wouldn't even know where to begin looking. Thanks! The one in the upper right has two taillights with long rods sticking out. Like they would be installed into something thick. But looks like a taillight to a 59 Imperial. Or maybe a late fifty's Dodge?
Spex84 Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Upper left are AMT '29 Ford/Ala Kart double kit. That parts tree (when intact) includes a set of 4 small bullet taillights as well. I had never seen the '63 Bonneville custom taillights. Wild!
ChrisBcritter Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 (edited) And finally, the ones on the upper right are from the AMT '62 Mercury Meteor. You're missing the larger custom lenses that plug into the tail fins, but you have the stock lenses, plus four bullets that, oddly, aren't mentioned on the instruction sheet. ewetwo Posted June 19, 2019 Author Posted June 19, 2019 Who would have known they were in this box of junk parts I bought. Thanks for the input guys.
1930fordpickup Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 I like these posts as we all learn from this. I think I have a couple of those in my stash also.
