Been away from modeling for a little bit due to work. But decided to build one for a few upcoming local shows. This will be Box Stock. I'll try and post in progress pics. First model i've done in over a year. Just mocking everything up for now and primering parts.

You picked a great kit to start on.

Agreed!  This kit just falls together. You will find things like the glass snaps in place, no glue needed.  The exhaust snapped in place for me too!

I built one stock... I did wire my engine and changed the air cleaner though.  And as I was working all I could think was what other vehicles that chassis would work under.  I recently cut one down and put it under a Datsun pickup and I was at Hobby Lobby today...  they had the kit, so I bought another one.  We'll see what that chassis winds up under!

Getting everything clean and primered. This is gonna be box stock, so no add ons. Starting to detail engine. Paint is Root Beer Metal Flake.

I think I reached a point to where I whistled and the kit began assembling itself. lol. Really easy kit to work with and produces a truly great result in the end. Revell really had their act together when the came up with this one.
