torinobradley Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 (edited) Just wanted to throw in a few of mine. Would love to see kits of these... These are all 1/24th-ish: And now some 1:43rd-ish ones... All of these are the NewBright Convertibles that I took apart and slammed to the pavement. I have many more but they are tucked away in cases. Edited March 10, 2010 by torinobradley
RodneyBad Posted July 30, 2009 Author Posted July 30, 2009 Hello I only have one die cast and no suprise it is a mopar pro stocker. And a Awesome Mopar at that.. Hey torinobradley The Eco Ford is cool looking.. Jada? Ya, they do run a bit on the Larger side of scale The Flame Caddie looks real cool 1/43 They do take up a whole lot Less space..
Nick Winter Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 A cool Die Cast Ford F-350 4x4 Utility Truck It seems a wee bit small but it is 1/25-ish whats with there being dual rears on one side but not both? I've got 1 of those Rams, Wish I had 1 of the Econolines. Well These too are my favorites and 3 days old now, there all gonna get my treatment before I call them done.
JamesW Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 (edited) whats with there being dual rears on one side but not both? The extra tire is just being used to hold the truck up off the table. Don't worry though, I thought the exact same thing at first, but then I looked closer. Edited November 13, 2009 by grimreaper
MrObsessive Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Another one I got from Danbury Mint recently................... I don't think you'll find a more detailed '54-'56 Caddy anywhere!
ScottEKCoupe Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 This is one from Japan. I actually have several of these. They are 1/24th scale and they are more than meets the eye!!!
Zoom Zoom Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Finally got my DHL package from Germany! I was able to obtain three Welly 1/24 scale models that aren't sold in the US. The Porsche is already discontinued. The VW T2 van is brand-new. Interestingly, the Alfa and Porsche look much nicer in person than in photos, while the photos flatter the VW. The VW is destined to be repainted in "Little Miss Sunshine" yellow & white. Extra points if I can find suitable figures and a recording of the sticking horn
RodneyBad Posted March 9, 2010 Author Posted March 9, 2010 WOW Bob The VW looks good and I love the movie.. Check out Sunshine Cleaners (along the same line) Alfa looks Really Cool. Porsche. What more can one say? I love it. Love it more in Yellow.
TimKustom Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Kool diecasts in here! I don't really collect diecasts, but I do check them out for "parts." These aren't my pics, but I have both of them since a 1999 Cougar is part of the 1:1 Fleet. Minichamps 1/43rd is VERY nice. Only needs a spoiler and Mercury emblems to be a match to ours. Also have the 1/18 scale version of it. Not very prototypical, but looks OK "opened up." Someday it will get taken apart, painted black and a spoiler added. Only "new edge" Cougars in scale that I know of.

dptydawg Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 This is another 1/24 diecast conversion that I have recently completed for a friend of mine who has two 1/1 55 Desotos. The starter car is a diecast 55 Chrysler 300C from MotorMax The plaque on the base is a new car "Dodge-Desoto" dealership badge from the garage he used to work for. Seem I just have to beat on my diecast a bit Thanks Carl
diymirage Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 picked up this chally last winter <img src="http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s115/spikekid999/diecasts/pics011.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /> i bought my father in law that car a few years ago then the Christmass after it i build a model of the car that might have inspired it i used the johnny lightning challenger for it
RodneyBad Posted March 11, 2010 Author Posted March 11, 2010 (edited) Found this at a GoodWill I've wanted one of these for awhile but didn't want to spend $50 on it. It may be metal but better than Nuttin BTW: the mirrors are still tape in the box Edited March 11, 2010 by Zukiholic
Longbox55 Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 I wouldn't mind seeing some Ag based platic kits, like these

jeffs396 Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 Sometimes if ya want a certain subject, who cares if it's metal...you can still kitbash, modify, & scratch parts for it! Here's a Willys I'm working on, I'll scratch a styrene original style bed for it... Here's a very nice pushmower that comes with one version of the JD SpecCast F250...
Junkman Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 (edited) The following are models which were commissioned by the Italian car magazine 'Quattroruote'. Altogether 50 models were released over two years. Each model came with a hard bound book about the car it was modelled after. Needless to say that these filled some long time gaps in the European scene. Edited April 12, 2010 by Junkman
Junkman Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 (edited) Entirely btw., this thread is useless if people don't state who the manufacturer of the models is. The above models can be found online when you search for "quattroruote 1/24" or "fabbri 1/24". The actual manufacturer is unknown in this case. I think these are all the models that wwere released in this series: Edited April 12, 2010 by Junkman
