Not sure how well that would work Al, but interesting ! I have a Foose kit but it's in the way back of my storage area so it will be a while before I could check.

I think it may be suited for 50 & 60's era pickups. Not sure about the 70's. sure would be nice though. There is a Tutorial on FB, on how to fit the Foose Chassis to a 53 ford, and it touches on Other types of trucks, the chassis could be used for, as it does have some flexibility for other applications.

I'm planning on doing this. I haven't gotten too far into it yet, but after a little test fitting, it looks like a pretty easy swap.

I might even remove the running boards, and use the bed from the Foose truck.

It should work.  If I remember, Foose's real truck uses a custom chassis and Corvette front suspension and steering so it could should work with maybe a little track width and wheelbase modification under any of the Moebius trucks.

If you own the kits, do a dry run with white glue.   A few things to check would be wheel base and track width.  I know on the 1:1 truck, Foose moved the front axle.

It's definitely do-able. It's a matter of how much work you are willing to do and your experience level.  I have the Foose chassis under the recent re-release of the old MPC Datsun pickup.  It was a bunch of work but I had fun doing it.  I had to shorten the chassis and cut sections of both the front and rear of it. I honed out the Datsun's wheel wells and added flares to accommodate the chassis's track and wide tires.  I had to completely fabricate the Datsun's cab floor to allow for the Foose engine and trans.

I'm working on getting one under an AMT '63 Ford "unibody" pickup.  No pictures yet, I've also cut apart the '63 interior to get a separate seat in, stand the interior side panels straight up (eliminate the mold draft) and lower the floor.  The Foose chassis should be a good swap under most Fifties through Seventies short bed pickups.  I was thinking about putting one under a Chevy pickup also, with a current Camaro engine.

I was thinking the 50 Chevy pickup with a LS engine as well.  EIther that or adapt the 39 Wagonrod chassis

Not sure about the '50 (Chevy or Ford); the Foose frame might be too wide at the firewall.

I know.  I'm 2000 miles away from the stash right now, so can't do a check.  But SABA club has a Shop Truck theme for December meeting and thinking something along those lines.  Have to see

I have done this swap. I had to cut the Foose frame at the battery box . Keep the running board mounts to center and glue directly to the floor once you get the wheelbase right. Then add styrene and smooth.  I also moved the 4 link inboard and narrowed the rear to add slicks for a drag look. It's a WIP but. I can say this. The Foose frame is able to fit many applications. It was a near perfect swap on my 50 F1
