James2 Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 My pen tip has dried out and will not flow. Has anyone had any success fixing this issue? It's the 1MM size.
aurfalien Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 Well, I've had no luck reviving a dried out nibs. I've tried soaking nibs in various fromage like alcohol, SuperClean, lacquer thinner etc... I ended up putting the remaining chrome in a small paint jar and just using toothpicks and paint brushes to apply.
Matt Bacon Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 Liquid Reamer airbrush cleaner worked for me... best, M.
Rodent Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 I store mine in a cup, tip end down. Seems to keep the tips moist. Maybe leaving yours in that position for a few days might restore it?
randyc Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 I gave up on the pens and ordered the 30ml refill. Seems like I was doing more with a brush dipped out of barrel and the tips are too hard for me to manipulate other than for dots. I just hope my best tiny brush never fails me...
