That came out great, nice combination of parts, those wheels look good de-chromed. What was the process of making the rears deeper? Those spokes are quite dainty and easily damaged.... -RRR

Thanx! The process was simple. I sanded the face of the rim smooth and glued a donor rim onto it. Not the "proper" way to do it. But, it worked well enough for this type of build.

I have always been fond of the Ford Vickie's, but never liked the Phantom Vickie model.

What you have done to that kit is simply awesome! I love everything about it!

Cool hot rod for sure!

Thanx! I've never been very fond of the Vickie body with the sloped backend and short roof. The only reason I built this was to get rid of the parts from the parts box. It has given me another idea for a future build. If I ever get around to it. Now that I've looked this over a bit, I wish I had filled in the taillight and license plate recesses. Then added '39 tail lights to the fenders and the plate glued to the inside of the rolled pan. But, that's what happens when I don't study the body well. I just didn't take the time to do it.
