For the last 7 months I have been fighting lung cancer. Today, September 22, 2008, My testing showed that the cncer is no longer present. I must check back in in about 3 months but, so far, I have won. I will still be around to check up on you people.

That's great and welcome information, Bob! It's nice to see some positive, uplifting news in this forum, instead of the arguing, negative, evil, and inappropriate things I've seen posted lately this year (The reason I've not participated nearly as much as in previous years.). Glad to hear your great news. I myself have been fighting cancer for 5 years now. I've been through numerous rounds of chemo-therapy and finally a stem cell transplant 2 years ago next month. I'm going for a cat scan and blood work in the coming weeks, and hopefully get the same good news that you got. It's amazing the wonderful things they can do nowadays. Cancer is no longer the death sentence it used to be.Again, congrats on the great news.
