Nells250 Posted December 24, 2019 Posted December 24, 2019 This one was from 2009 (wow, it HAS been a while since I built!), the Revell/Monogram Ferrari F430 coupe. It was a bleepity-bleep pain in the backside project because I tried to make it YELLOW... until that time, I had NEVER achieved a usable yellow paint job. Trying to darken the panel lines mixed with trying Tamiya paints resulted in a disaster. I ended up having to order a new body! All the dirty details can be read HERE ---->> http://jonellesmodels.homestead.com/FerrariF430.html Here are photos of the finished model: 1
Belugawrx Posted December 25, 2019 Posted December 25, 2019 NICE black paint ! That came out well .Cheers?
Nells250 Posted December 26, 2019 Author Posted December 26, 2019 THANKS! Looking at the pics I am reminded that, as with EVERY paint job that I was actually happy with, SOMETHING went wrong... if I remember correctly, I dropped the rear window as I was getting ready to install it! Always SOMETHING... and people wonder why I end up wanting to just sell everything and become (more of a )hermit??
