johnyrotten Posted June 6 Posted June 6 Shot some createx black pearl. I really like this color. Very pleased how it shot and how the car looks. It's not perfect, but I'm happy with it. 3

Nice color!

I'm excited to see it with a clear coat, it's still wet in the photos.

oldcarfan Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Modeling-wise I accomplished nothing, however I did get to spend a week with my toddler granddaughter. You never realize how tired you can be until a toddler is there to remind you. This upcoming week I'll be in the shop trying to remember what I was working on. I shot some enamel paint last Monday and with the 100 degree temps maybe it'll be ready to work with. 2
meechum68 Posted June 9 Posted June 9 (edited) So today I accomplished finishing the Peterbilt I posted in WiP (Kenworth with Ugly trailer .. I misnamed it) and posted it in Completed in Big Rigs. And doing some prepwork for the GTO in an earlier post laying on my work area. Edited June 9 by meechum68 1

johnyrotten Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Just something I like to do with box stock exhaust, trimmed off all the "fat". 4
meechum68 Posted June 11 Posted June 11 I got more done on my GTO... such a trial in patience and I am hoping it turns out better than expected. I have some pics up in WIP of tonights work, and some of the photos are horrid and the paint on some items didn't lay right, so my thought on it is, Young driver not a lot of money or skills builds his first muscle car.
Radretireddad Posted June 12 Posted June 12 Successfully resin cast some extra Moebius F series truck transmissions. Now three of my planned builds will have the correct transmissions that actually came in the real truck. 1
meechum68 Posted June 12 Posted June 12 Fantastic work! I wrapped up a bugger of a kit. So now I have a Datsun street truck and the Fairlane I have a post about on my bench. This will sit for a bit while I am out of town for work, then when I get back, I will start a 63 Chevy Impala and one of my Vicky's. I should focus on one, but 4 .. 4 is good for now.... 1
