slusher Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 Kirk Douglas died he was 103. Watched him in westerns with my dad. R.I.P.
TonyK Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 Had no idea he was that old so good for him. Have enjoyed so many of his movies. The War Wagon was one of my favorites and I recall an old racing movie that was pretty bad but don't remember the name of it.
Lunajammer Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 I haven't seen all his work, but roles I like him in were playing twin brothers in "The Man From Snowy River" and also the quiet strength in Kubrick's "Paths of Glory." He was an amazing man. RIP.
Rob Hall Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 Some of my favorite films w/ him were 'Seven Days in May' with Burt Lancaster, 'Tough Guys' with Burt, 'Out of the Past' w/ Robert Mitchum and of course 'Spartacus'.
restoman Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 103 years... A good, long life for The Rag Man's son.
NYLIBUD Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 Oh man, there goes another great actor. He will be missed.I wasn’t aware that he was 103 YO.He lived a long great life..
Roadrunner Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 I hate to see him go, but he had a good life and a very long run; starred in some all-time classics too.
