yellowsportwagon Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 Always wanted to do this car. So I got one. I didn’t like the drivers side roofline at the toprear of the door opening. So I spliced in a piece of strip to fix it. I added vinyl top moldings and seams. Also added the fender crown moldings. Paint is about 6 coats of rattle can white sprayed really dry for the roof. 1970 Ford medium Lime for the rest. Ford dark green interior color too. It’s nearing completion. A few odds and ends on the body and chassis. I need to detail the interior real nice too. Zimmerman wheels and lowered about 1/8 inch all around.
kelson Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 Don't often see 4 doors look this low and mean!,great work so far.
Reuhkapelti2 Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 Very pretty 4door, the green paint is delicious. Is this a resin body shell?

Reuhkapelti2 Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 Oh that is cool. Good for you to have such a kit.
Koellefornia Kid Posted March 9, 2020 Posted March 9, 2020 Yeah, that looks cool! Actually very close to what I'm planning for my ´70 Galaxie kit (somewhere down the road...). Never knew that there was a LTD version available, really would like to have one but I guess it is pretty rare?
espo Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 This is a very nice looking kit, especially after your corrections to the roof and the added moldings. I don't remember ever seeing this one before. The Green color looks good with this body and a White Vinyl Roof.
OldNYJim Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 I really like this - the stance is good, those wheels are cool and the color’s unusual enough to be eye catching but still looks great on there! Way cool!
iamsuperdan Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 I'm happy to see someone build an old and rare kit! These 70s boats are awesome, and the build is looking great.
