junkyardjeff
I picked up a 64 thunderbolt rebuilder and would like to build it as a 289 hipo version so do any of the mustang kits have a good one.
64Comet404
The AMT '67 Mustang has a nice 1/25 version, and you can create a good 1/24 version using parts from the Monogram '65 Mustang and '66 GT350 kits.
afx
I like the Revellogram mentioned above. Its 1/24 scale but I have used it in several 1/25 scale builds. Here it is in an AMT '66 Falcon which is 1/25 scale. Edited March 15, 2020 by afx

RancheroSteve
Both engines mentioned above are good, but if you're going for a factory stock HiPo, the AMT '67 Shelby GT-350 Mustang is probably better - it has the correct intake and exhaust manifolds and air cleaner. I will look for that kit.
