PICS- The '58 Impala Snake Fu'd.

Here it is guys, all done except for a few minor details anyways. I still need to find the rear mount antennas,(no luck so far) and awaiting the PE set from MCG. If anyone has a good source for the antennas I'd sure appreciate it. All the BMF is done plus Carpeting of the interior and trunk. Also added the jack and jacking instructions to the deck lid. I forgot to take pics of the engine compartment before putting it in the case....doh!!! Not perfect but it looks good parked behind the '58 Bonny. Thanks for your interest.[:)]

The Chevy looks great.  Would any of these antennas work for you? The bottom ones are about the same size as the Motormax convertible.

That looks pretty good, and I'm no fan of '58 Chevies. Great color and finish, though--I REALLY like those!

Your Snake-Fu was strong with this one, but then you DO already have your Black Belt.

I did something similar to this model a few years back. As you've shown, it fits in well with other plastic models and is clearly 1.25th, not 1.24th as on the packaging.

Bumping this one up.  After seeing it, I have been looking and finally found one cheap enough to get.    Got a new sheet of foil burning a hole in my pocket.  And that's something I can do in the house in the AC.  

Geno, did you ever get/install the PE set?   Would like to see that as well.

Finished mine up yesterday.  Not as nice as Gene's so no need to do photos.  Only thing I did differently ( maybe?) was coat the chrome and bumpers with some black Detailer fluid.   To me, it gives kit chrome a bit more depth and realism.   Especially on mine - the chrome didn't look as good as Gene's- it was very "light"
