Kararic Posted May 17, 2020 Posted May 17, 2020 Greetings, Just finished this AMT 1960 Chevrolet Custom Fleetside kit. The kit is very nice and it builds easy. I decided to lower the truck slightly since it sat way to high. I replaced the wheels with different style and put white wall tires. I removed the chains in the rear that hold the tailgate for a little bit of a smoother look. I painted the truck and the go cart two tone using Splash Paint paints and their 2k clear. I was going to spend more time on detailing the engine and the bed but got burnt out and decided to finish it the way it is. Thank you for looking and please feel free to leave comments and suggestions.
espo Posted May 17, 2020 Posted May 17, 2020 Great looking build, beautiful looking paint. I like how you did the cart to match the pick-up.
AmericanMuscleFan Posted May 18, 2020 Posted May 18, 2020 Very beautiful pickup sir! Clean and flawless build. What did you used to detail the Chevrolet letters in the tailgate, Molotow pencil or Bare Metal?
Kararic Posted May 18, 2020 Author Posted May 18, 2020 Thank you guys very much. I appreciate your comments.

Painted Black Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 Has to be the best build I've seen of this truck.

misterNNL Posted June 20, 2020 Posted June 20, 2020 A build to be proud of for sure. The real trucks were brand new the year I graduated from high school. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
