Italianhorses Posted June 27, 2020 Author Posted June 27, 2020 Time to finish up this one as well. Most tedious work was to paint the taillights - Tamiya gives very vague outline of the lights and it was nightmare of masking, color separation, and making sure the colors don't bleed over each other. Turned out ok in the end, but what a cluster..k! Sam I Am Posted June 27, 2020 Posted June 27, 2020 Alex, That blue really looks good on the Mazda, and the extra work on the taillights was worth it, they have great depth. So what's next on the bench?
OldNYJim Posted June 28, 2020 Posted June 28, 2020 Really impressive build, as always - and I LOVE that color! Stunning, especially with the red interior! Great tip on the anti-static brush too, I didn’t know that was a thing! Thanks for that!
tmathew1us Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Gorgeous, as always. Great work. I would love to see your modeling shelf some time. It must be packed!

Modlbldr Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 That looks amazing in that color combo! I also love this body style of RX-7. I have one I've finished and promptly bought another. I have thought of getting this issue before but haven't yet. I may have to now. Later-

I might do one in similar color later. It is a great kit, very typical Tamiya! Thanks!
