Mopar - D Posted August 15, 2020 Author Posted August 15, 2020 Thanks Gator. The wheels fit with no problems the only thing that I did to connect the wheels was to turn the brake drums around and then they fit the wheels and holds the wheel attachment in place.
Dutzie Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 Great looking build, Dan. I have always wanted to build this kit but heard many horror stories about fit issues. Great job on the paint job!
tbill Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 Wow! Looking good man! As said, what a beast of an outfit. Great progress on this .
Mopar - D Posted August 16, 2020 Author Posted August 16, 2020 Thanks Brian and Tom. I’ve been working on cleaning up the red over runs and placed some stars.
Mopar - D Posted August 21, 2020 Author Posted August 21, 2020 I have now finished the interior and have the glass in place. Working on the alignment of the cab, fenders and engine covers. I think I’ve got it pretty close now.

Thanks Francis the resin parts from KFS are very good quality but there is a lot of trimming on each piece. Scaniart Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 The build is coming on nicely, Um, just a quick question.. The fuel or oil cell on the side of the gooseneck, the cap is on the bottom..?? Was this intentional..?? Cheers and Stay Safe From Down Under. Paul
Mopar - D Posted August 28, 2020 Author Posted August 28, 2020 Thanks Paul for commenting on hydraulic oil tank. I was looking at my photos and saw the same thing I have corrected the problem. I’m not sure what I was looking at when I glued it on. Some how between test fitting and gluing I turned it around.
Mopar - D Posted August 28, 2020 Author Posted August 28, 2020 Primer is on the gooseneck and I’ve installed the remaining nozzles and manways on the vessel.

Maybe the gooseneck was upside down to have a level surface with the tank.
Mopar - D Posted August 29, 2020 Author Posted August 29, 2020 Test fitting the gooseneck with paint on it now.
gatorincebu Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 Dan, Now that is really beginning to look really good ! you have motivated me.To get back on mine. As soon as I clear the workbench of my current projects. I hope I can make mine look halfway as good as yours . Be Well Gator

Also have added the lifting lugs on the vessel and building up the vessel supports. Next will be to add insulation on the vessel and start building the remaining 2 transporters.
Mopar - D Posted September 11, 2020 Author Posted September 11, 2020 I have finished beefing up the vessel supports and started insulation on the vessel.
