mrmike Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 This is my '32 Ford Phaeton Street Rod painted with Model Master Mystic Emerald and built box stock with a few changes made by me.
bamadon Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 Followed the wip on this and it came out great. By the way, where's McNally(?)
espo Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 I like the style of the way you built this. Great looking paint work.
mrmike Posted June 10, 2020 Author Posted June 10, 2020 Thank you Don, Larry and David! 5 hours ago, bamadon said: Followed the wip on this and it came out great. By the way, where's McNally(?) McNally is taking a rest. He'll be back soon!
Dragonhawk1066 Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 Looks pretty good! That Mystic Emerald is a very nice color, I used it on my '34 Ford Roadster Pickup.
mrmike Posted June 11, 2020 Author Posted June 11, 2020 Thank you Craig! It was either this Model Master paint or Tamiya which is pretty close.
stavanzer Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 Nice Build. You did a wonderful job, building it OOB. Matching the Air Cleaner to the Body is a discrete, subtle touch. I like it.
alan barton Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 Looks good Michael! You had some challenges staying within the box stock rule but it came out very nicely. I see you thinned out the windshield frame - that definitely worked! Cheers Alan
mrmike Posted June 13, 2020 Author Posted June 13, 2020 Thank you Alan and Alan! Interesting how you two chime in together! I don't like the air cleaner design and if I could, I would have gone into my parts box and found a better one. Painting it the body color changed it slight;y and made it part of the body. I thinned the windshield frame slightly, but not too much due to the stepped windshield glass.
