89AKurt Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 Crown Vic meets Rolls Royce tank engine. https://www.autoblog.com/2020/06/18/ford-crown-victoria-gets-tank-engine/?fbclid=IwAR3dWAWHWUOrg0EMDXUfYcv3T2gxaKp_fmNT1R93TVIrwY7q2Ytpw1sss_8
Matt Bacon Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 Seems like a pretty heavy and inefficient way to get 600 BHP. Mind you, the Meteor is a Merlin detuned for reliability and ground level operation, so given the amount of effort he’s putting in he could probably double that if he tried. As a project though, it seems more like an “I’ll see if I can...?” rather than a “What’s the best way to...?” Best, M.
Richard Bartrop Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 When I hear "Meteor Interceptor", something like this is what springs to mind
stavanzer Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 Richard, that is exactly what I thought, too. Although I pictured the '63/64 car.
