doorsovdoon Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 That's happened to me on a bumper, took the chrome clean off!
Bucky Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 Oh, no! I had some Duplicolor primer come off one recently when I tried to reposition a piece of low tack tape.
PatW Posted July 28, 2020 Posted July 28, 2020 WOW! What a job your doing! Superb crafting of the bodyshell. Excuse me asking, as I've not seen it in the UK, but what is Renshape please?

Excuse me asking, as I've not seen it in the UK, but what is Renshape please? Also called tooling or modeling board. Here is a UK supplier: https://www.mouldlife.net/renshape-boards-154-c.asp. It comes in many different densities, so you may want to get some samples. I got a chunk from an ebay supplier, at a reasonable price after searching for a long time.

Don't overlook another of my favorite modeling materials: Eves Apoxie Sculpt: https://avesstudio.com/shop/apoxie-sculpt/. I formed the flying buttresses, going from the rear fender to the roof with it.
Pico Posted July 30, 2020 Author Posted July 30, 2020 It's time to print chrome decals. I make vector art in Inkscape and print them using Decalprofx: https://decalprofx.com/index.html.
Pico Posted July 31, 2020 Author Posted July 31, 2020 3D printed parts done on my Anycubic Photon. Those spokes are .0015" (.038 mm) in diameter.
Pico Posted July 31, 2020 Author Posted July 31, 2020 It's necessary to be careful with a 3D printed part; they are brittle. 1 hour ago, Bucky said: Those are real beauties! How delicate are they?
absmiami Posted July 31, 2020 Posted July 31, 2020 Did you reprint the wheels with a different material - or did you change the design ? And are you using Mr Bill’s tires - or what ??? Very nice - btw ...
