MPC Bronco

Just got my bronco. Bought it on ebay. Threw a bid on it for s's and g's. Then I won it lol. Well I've only built the revell kit. I'm extremely impressed by the MPC kit. The fact that the front suspension is 4 parts is just great!!! Makes me want to mold them for some other ideas. Lots of detail tho. Now to dream it up...

Been all over the place. I have been wanting to do some of this but have gotten pulled in many directions. I'll be building soon tho.

Looking at the parts laid out I have a new found interest in the old MPC kits.

One thing I've found I'm not overly fond of is theres no bar where the smokers window would be.

It may be molded to the glass.

Check out Fireball Modelworks or Scenes Unlimited and put some modern wheels and tires on that truck, those Desert Dogs are so 1970's!

Negative just a front windshield no smokers window. I'll post a pic later.

BNL resins makes some great parts as well. I'll be parts boxing the dogs for a rainy day.

Lol I started questioning if I want to go that route. But... the short of it is.... yeah I think so. I printed off an outline and colored it to get a quick idea of a different color scheme.

I dont know if I like the blue/tan scheme on the 80's although jacked up like this 96 it maybe a different story. However I really like the blue tan on the 96.

The other thing I'm thinking since it's going to be lifted I kinda want to do a S.A.S. front end.

Hope I dont regret this. I'm sure I wont. The grill isnt quite right anyhow.
